Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Where the defendant pleaded guilty to an offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, it was held on appeal that the sentence of ten months' imprisonment imposed by the sentencing judge was excessive, and a sentence of four months' imprisonment was substituted accordingly.
