Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Unlawful wounding.
In circumstances where the defendant had undertaken a terrifying attack with a knife on the victim, which appeared to have been planned, a sentence of four years' imprisonment on a plea of guilty to a charge of unlawful wounding was severe, but not manifestly excessive.
