Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Disparity.
A sentence of two years and six months' detention in a young offender institution imposed upon a defendant who pleaded guilty to violent disorder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm was considered, on appeal, to be manifestly excessive. A sentence of 18 months' detention in a young offender institution was substituted.
