Employment - Unfair dismissal - Continuity of employment - Period of employment - ss 211, 218(6).
When dealing with the question of continuity of employment there was no basis for overriding the clear words of s211 of the 1996 Act and the common sense position that continuous employment began with the date on which the employee started work.
