Family proceedings - Orders in family proceedings - Specific issue order - Religious education - Mother withdrawing permission to allow child to attend mosque for lessons whilst in her care - Father issuing specific issue order to resume attendance - Whether application should be granted.
On an appeal against a refusal to grant a specific issue order for a child to attend religious education lessons in the evening at a mosque, the Court of Appeal held that the county court had been misled as to the child's after school activities, and that in all the circumstances it was appropriate to grant the specific issue order.
