Landlord and tenant - Rent - Rent review - Failure to comply with time limits - Construction of clause - Landlord giving notice to tenant of its wish to review rent - Tenant contending notice invalid - Whether clause imposing time limit on giving of review notice.
On the true construction of a rent review clause the court determined the question whether a notice to review the rent was required to be given, if at all, by a set date and if so, what date, in favour of the tenant.
