The Case

Following the decision of the House of Lords on liability () in the action by the claimant for damages arising out of, inter alia, the defendant's conversion of some of its aircraft during the Gulf war, the court assessed some of the claimant's claims, including claims for the consequential loss of being unable to lease out the converted aircraft until it obtained replacement aircraft and thereafter the cost of leasing in replacement aircraft.
