The Case

On an appeal by a general practitioner against suspension from registration, the Privy Council was satisfied that the decision of the Committee on Professional Performance of the General Medical Council to suspend the appellant's registration for a period of 12months was fair and reasonable and could not be regarded as disproportionate.
