Sentencing - Affray - Aggravating and mitigating features - Whether sentence manifestly excessive.
The court ruled that, in the circumstances, the sentence of 18 months' imprisonment for affray arising from threats made to, and an assault upon, a fellow driver, was manifestly excessive, and a sentence of 12 months' imprisonment would be substituted.
