Sentencing - Burglary - Defendant asking for substantial number of similar offences to be taken into consideration - Defendant in breach of licence - Whether sentence manifestly excessive.
A total sentence of eight years' imprisonment imposed upon the defendant who was convicted of burglary and had asked for a substantial number of like offences to be taken into consideration was considered, on appeal, to be manifestly excessive. A total sentence of six years' imprisonment was substituted.
