Contract - Construction - Liability - Contract for construction of homes and associated roads - Applicant completing works begun by other construction company - Whether applicant assuming additional responsibility for previous works.
In a construction dispute, it was held that in a sentence in the contract providing 'the access road being unfinished by others will be taken on and completed by ourselves during the contract period', the words 'taken on' added nothing to the obligation to complete the unfinished works.
