Sentencing - Robbery - Deliberate targeting of elderly victims - Whether sentence unduly lenient.
A sentence of nine years and six months' imprisonment imposed upon an offender who pleaded guilty to robbery was considered, on a reference by the Attorney General to the Court of Appeal, to be unduly lenient. A discretionary life sentence was substituted.
