Sentencing - Gross indecency with a child - Aggravating and mitigating features - Whether sentence manifestly excessive.
A sentence of nine months' imprisonment imposed upon a defendant who pleaded guilty to an offence of gross indecency with a child was reduced on appeal to one of six months' imprisonment to reflect the basis upon which the defendant had entered his guilty plea.
