Sentencing - Wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm - Aggravating and mitigating features - Whether sentence manifestly excessive.
A sentence of nine years' imprisonment imposed upon a defendant who was convicted of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was considered, on appeal, to be manifestly excessive and a sentence of five years' imprisonment was substituted.
