Costs - Order for costs - Quantum of costs - Successful claimant being awarded costs - Claimant's costs schedule containing figure disproportionate to amount of damages awarded - Judge assessing claimant's costs at greatly reduced figure to claimant's costs schedule - Whether judge in error.
Proportionality was a very important feature of the assessment of costs on the standard basis, particularly in relation to the fast track.
