Alison is an experienced solicitor, specialising in family law since 1996. She is committed to alternative dispute resolution methods, is a trained civil and family mediator and collaborative lawyer and is listed on the Ministry of Justice website as a provider of the family MIAMs (Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings). She is passionate about finding appropriate ways of resolving family disputes, with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

Her experience of dispute resolution has spanned numerous sectors as a family lawyer acting for and with individuals from a wide range of different backgrounds, with the matters in dispute including financial settlements on divorce and/or separation often with an international element, the arrangements for children, choice of jurisdiction, inheritances/Wills, trusts/pensions, wealth protection; of business assets, inherited wealth and property, shareholder issues, employment issues, cohabitant disputes, and educational issues.
