Camilla Barry

Camilla Barry has specialised in UK pensions law for over 20 years.

She advises both sponsors and trustees and other scheme providers on the establishment and administration of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Camilla regularly advises on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions.

Camilla has significant experience of advising in relation to the powers of the UK Pensions Regulator in the context of both scheme funding and corporate transactions and restructurings, including obtaining approval for "regulated apportionment arrangements".

Camilla also advises insurers, asset managers and other pension providers on regulatory matters relating to private sector schemes, Local Government Pension Schemes, master trusts, SIPPs, auto-enrolment and pensions risk transfers (including insured pension buy-ins and buy-outs). 

Camilla has advised on the establishment of a defined benefit consolidator.
