David is a partner in RPC's IP & Technology team, and manages disputes and investigations within the Privacy/Information group. He has extensive experience of IP/technology matters, and has handled many data and confidential information disputes, including Court proceedings, arbitrations and investigations. David has recently successfully acted on a 10 day breach of confidence/DPA High Court trial, and advised on alleged data protection breaches and ICO investigations involving a FTSE 100 company. He also regularly advises on content, intermediary liability and data aggregation issues. David is recommended in the leading directories as "combining technical excellence with an astute understanding of client needs', "very commercial" and "a savvy litigator with excellent client skills'.
