Ted Rhodes

Ted Rhodes is an oil and gas lawyer and managing partner of the CMS Rio de Janeiro office. He is qualified in England and New York, and registered as a foreign legal consultant with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). Ted worked in the CMS oil and gas teams in London and Aberdeen, and on secondment to BP, before moving to Rio seven years ago. Ted advises oil companies, service providers, suppliers, shipyards and vessel owners on offshore oil and gas projects and upstream matters, including the charter and operation of FPSOs, drilling rigs and other vessels, offshore construction and installation projects, EPCI contracts, international procurement and joint venture arrangements. Ted also advises Brazilian and international companies on corporate M&A, the acquisition and disposal of assets and cross-border investment matters.
