Stephen is joint Global Head of M&A at Herbert Smith. He advises a range of major listed and other companies on mergers and acquisitions, other corporate transactions and wider governance issues. He has over 20 years experience of advising on takeover bids and other significant M&A transactions including many ground-breaking deals.

He regularly advises on M&A matters for clients in a range of sectors, including Johnson Matthey, BSkyB, G4S, Severn Trent, and Signet.
