Since 2004, Stephen has delivered more than 600 CPD seminars and conferences on a range of subjects relating to commercial and residential property transactions. Delegates at these events have included practitioners from a variety of size of firms, ranging from sole practitioners to City Solicitors. He has also run a university-accredited distance learning course for aspiring paralegals in the subject of residential conveyancing. As a contributing editor to Butterworths Property Law Service, published by LexisNexis, he writes on the complex law relating to long and short residential leases. A former practising Solicitor with several years post-qualification experience, he has represented many business and private clients, including property investors and local authorities, and run branch offices of Solicitors’ firms. He is a Past President of the Heart of England Speakers Club and a former regional committee member of the Professional Speakers Association.
