Song Ryu

Song Ryu is a partner in the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group at Yoon & Yang LLC in Seoul, Korea, focusing on antitrust matters such as corporate leniency program, merger clearance, criminal prosecution, private damage claims, administrative appeals, internal audits/investigations and compliance/training. He has represented leading Korean and multinational corporations in matters regarding merger clearance, abuse of dominance, unfair trade practice (including subcontracting), and domestic and international cartel investigations in a variety of industries including petrochemical, elevator/escalator, industrial motor, air cargo, air passenger, freight forwarding, marine hose, power cable, telecommunications, building materials, energy and information technology. His practice areas also include broadcasting/ telecommunications and information technology and the interface between antitrust law and intellectual property rights. After receiving his LLM from Boston University School of Law in 2011, Song worked as a visiting foreign lawyer in the New York office of Ropes & Gray LLP. He received his LLB from Hanyang University in 2001 and is admitted to the Korean Bar.
