Simon is a leading outsourcing and information and communications technology lawyer, recommended by clients and the major UK directories for his expertise. His clients include some of the world’s largest international corporations. Simon spent 3years as in-house counsel at Fujitsu Services.

He writes and speaks on current outsourcing, technology, information security, data privacy and governance issues affecting senior management and their organisations. He has appeared on the BBC’s Working Lunch, You and Yours and the Today programme talking about technology and e-commerce issues, and has been quoted in publications including the FT, the Times, the Guardian and The Economist. He writes a regular column for Outsource Magazine.

Simon is the editor of the practice notes on Information Technology and Outsourcing in LexisPSL IP & IT. He is the author of the notes on ‘Outsourcing I – Strategy,’ ‘Outsourcing III – Change and Disputes,’ ‘Cloud Computing’ and ‘Protecting IPR in Technology Contracts," and a contributor to other practice notes in the series, all of which have been produced by his colleagues at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP.
