Biography

Sally qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and in 1986 became a partner in Russell Cooke. Between 1992 and 1995 she ran an associate French office in Sophia Antipolis (Nice). Sally qualified as a Notary Public in 1996. She has acted for clients in connection with the French-based acquisitions, holdings and sales as well as advising on French inheritance tax and French wealth tax and French succession and wills. Sally has also been involved in advising on French property secured lending activities for British banks. Sally joined Penningtons to work with Charles Brooks in the French property team in March 2002 and is now a consultant with the firm. Sally has spoken widely on French property matters and related issues such as French succession. Sally is also a Council member of The Notaries Society and is a Committee member of The Franco British Lawyers Society.
