Robert works on financially troubled individuals and companies, so his clients include individuals, businesses, banks and finance houses. His aim is always to save the business or avoid personal insolvency and ensure as few people lose out as is possible. He is also well known for his lectures on insolvency and recovery. Recent examples include a joint presentation on company administration held at The Insitute of Directors In London, and for HM Revenue & Customs on pre-pack administrations, giving insights into an Administrator's perspective and the thinking behind some of thier decisions.

He trained at the Offices of the Official Receiver in London. Did a stint at BDO Stoy Hayward and joined Rothman Pantall in 2001. The London office of Rothman Pantall merged with Shipleys in 2007.
