Biography
Rahul Singh (Counsel, Trilegal, New Delhi) advises a wide range of Indian and multi-national clients on merger control provisions, joint ventures, anti-competitive agreements (including cartel investigations) and abuse of dominance cases before the Competition Commission of India (CCI). Prior to joining Trilegal, Rahul was a member of the Advisory Committee on Regulation at the CCI where he assisted in drafting several regulations and trained the CCI staff in competition law and policy and economic analysis of competition law. Rahul has been a professor of competition law at the National Law School, Bangalore and has taught at IIM Bangalore (India), Deakin University (Australia), the University of California at Berkeley, Harvard Law School and the University of Florida (USA) as a visiting professor.
Rahul is recognised as an expert on Indian competition law by several publications such as Mint (India associate of the Wall Street Journal) and the India Business Law Journal. He has published extensively on Indian competition law in international law reviews and one his articles has been cited by the Chief Justice of Australia.
