Biography

Philip Clifford is the London Chair of Latham & Watkins’ Litigation and Arbitration Practice. Recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 as a leading arbitration practitioner, Philip is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Solicitor Advocate and a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration. He has over 20 years’ experience in resolving a broad range of disputes through arbitration, litigation and mediation, with particular expertise in complex, cross-border, disputes arising out of oil and gas, power, engineering, mining and construction projects, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, M&A and financial transactions.
