Biography

Paul Hynes QC was called to the Bar in 1987 and took Silk in 2010. Practises from the highly successful chambers at 25 Bedford Row. Paul is instructed for the defence in serious crime including: bribery, company offences, confiscation, corruption, dishonesty, fraud and money laundering. He has considerable experience of white collar crime and regulatory offences. Has advised and acted for local authorities, public and private companies, charities, politicians, senior civil servants, lawyers, company officers and other professionals in connection with a wide range of matters. A regular lecturer and author on fraud and financial matters. Has spoken at numerous fraud conferences and the Lexis Nexis/Butterworths Criminal Law Summer School on a variety of topics. Has written for numerous legal publications.
