Owen is a consultant in private client. He specialises in tax and trust matters, both UK and offshore. He is also expert in domestic taxation, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax reliefs.

He advises charities and charity donors, with particular reference to efficient constitutional mechanisms and the appropriate use of tax reliefs.

Owen is a member of a number of professional organisations. As a member of the STEP UK Technical Committee he is involved in discussions with Government departments on taxation and trust issues. He received the 2010/2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from STEP.

He is involved in planning and overseeing the private client department education programme both internally and externally.
