Biography
Murray has lectured in Medical Law and Ethics at Glasgow University School of Law and worked for the Scottish Parliament as a researcher, while maintaining and developing a career as a freelance medico-legal researcher, writer and lecturer. That work includes teaching on different courses in healthcare law, law and medical ethics and human rights law, for the University of Edinburgh (CPD and Masters degree level and the development and delivery of an online Masters course in European Health Care Law) and for the University of East London (LLB level).
He is the author of the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia: Medicines Poisons and Drugs Reissue and joint author of the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia: Medical Law Reissue and the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia: Elections and Referendums Reissue. In addition he has written Law Essentials: Medical Law, Dundee University Press (2007) and contributes to Greens Scottish Human Rights Service: Case Digests chapter on Medical Law.
