Mathew is a partner in the International Corporate Group at Bird & Bird, specialising in corporate and business taxation. He heads up the UK Tax Group. Before joining Bird & Bird in 2005, Mathew worked in the tax practices at Lovells and KPMG.

Mathew has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, reorganisations and reconstructions, joint ventures, private equity, finance and property transactions. He has acted for a wide variety of clients across a broad spectrum of business sectors.
