Marek Holka

Marek Holka is an associate in Ä?echová & Partners dealing mostly with antitrust and competition matters. He has been involved in advising several multinational companies in antitrust proceedings at the Slovak national competition authority and regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance issues. Marek is also regularly involved in the merger control cases. Before joining the firm, he took an internship with the Slovak competition authority, where he dealt predominantly with the possibilities of private enforcement of competition law. He also completed the study programme at Lund University in Sweden, where he dealt mostly with EU law and competition law. During his practice, he also gained relevant experience in regulatory issues, including banking, insurance, reinsurance, payment services, electronic money, collective investment and securities-related matters.
