Katerina Papamichael

Katerina is a Director in the debt issuers advisory team in the London office of DF King Worldwide, a leading global financial communications and stakeholder management firm. Katerina’s main responsibilities include advising clients on structuring their transactions in the debt capital markets area - debt restructurings, administrations, tender offers, exchanges, consent solicitations with a focus on mechanics and settlement.

She works closely with bond issuers and central securities depositaries in Europe and globally offering a full range of services to debt issuers and their advisers, with a focus on bondholder identification, communication and transaction execution.

Katerina has a decade’s worth of experience having worked on numerous corporate and sovereign financial restructurings and debt transactions such as Parmalat, Schefenacker, Republic of Argentina and most recently Republic of Greece, the largest debt restructuring in history.

Katerina received her Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Economics Prague. She helped establish the European section of international women’s insolvency network, IWIRC Europe (International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation) and has served as a Co-Chair and a board member. She is also a member of INSOL International.
