Julian is a partner in the Tax Group at Bird & Bird LLP. Julian advises on a broad range of corporate and international tax matters, with a particular focus on structured transactions (relating to assets such as intellectual property, transport and real estate), fund structuring, corporate reconstructions, banking and finance (including tax structured finance). He also has broad experience in tax dispute resolution. He has successful experience of presenting cases as Solicitor-Advocate before the High Court and Court of Appeal: see HMRC v Banerjee (No 1) 80 TC 205; [2010] STC; [2011] All ER 985.
