John is a technology lawyer who advises both public- and private-sector companies on a range of commercial, IP and IT issues. He works with a diverse spectrum of clients in the media & entertainment, technology & communications and energy sectors, from small start-ups to multinationals.

He has worked in house at a number of listed companies, including BP and Vodafone.

John has written for a number of trade papers and journals, including Supply Management and E-Commerce Law & Policy. He also runs a legal clinic for entrepreneurs and social enterprises at which he has spoken on IP and commercial issues.

John is the author of the practice note on ‘Escrow’ and the Hardware, Software and IT Services checklists in LexisPSL IP & IT.
