Joan Desmond

Joan is a pensions specialist who joined LexisNexis from Speechly Bircham where she advised companies and trustees of occupational pension schemes, life assurance schemes and public sector schemes, as well as high-net-worth individuals, employees, senior executives and insurers. Her areas of expertise include corporate restructuring, scheme mergers and closures, buy-ins, scheme funding issues, contract based schemes and auto-enrolment. Joan is a full member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.
