Iain Miller is a partner in Kingsley Napley’s Regulatory Team where he specialises in regulation and public law. A substantial part of his current practice relates to legal services regulation and discipline. He acted for the SRA and its predecessors for over 20 years before moving to Kingsley Napley. His clients have also included the Bar Standards Board, whom he assisted in developing their current Code of Conduct and regulatory framework, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, as well as other regulatory bodies outside legal services. Iain has been involved in many of the most significant regulatory and disciplinary cases involving legal professionals over the last 20 years and also acted in relation to a number of high profile law firm insolvencies including Halliwells, Dewey & LeBoeuf, Manches and Cobetts.
Iain is General Editor of Cordery on Legal Services and co-editor of Butterworth’s Guide to the Legal Services Act 2007.
