Biography

Helen is a professional support lawyer within the Litigation Department of Morton Fraser. She trained in private practice in a large commercial firm and, post qualification, worked in commercial litigation gaining experience in Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions. Following a short time working in data protection and FOI in the public sector, she started working as a professional support lawyer in litigation at Morton Fraser.

She works on a range of cases and giving advice on procedural matters as well as substantive legal issues. In addition, as part of her role as a professional support lawyer, she is responsible for ensuring that her colleagues have the latest information available to them through the organisation and provision of training sessions, legal updates and the capture of internally generated legal knowledge. She also organises Morton Fraser's in-house Law Society of Scotland accredited trainee training programme for our second year trainee solicitors.
