Biography

Hayley is an environmental law specialist with environmental management qualifications and experience in the private and public sectors. She is admitted as a solicitor in Australia and England & Wales.

Hayley qualified as an environment and planning lawyer at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst Australia) in Sydney, before moving to London and working as an environment associate at Stephenson Harwood and Allen & Overy. More recently, she joined us from the Environment Agency, where she worked as an adviser on environmental guidance.

She has experience of advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious environmental matters, including:

  • climate change and renewable energy
  • environmental due diligence
  • permitting and compliance
  • contaminated land
  • judicial review
  • waste

Hayley regularly appears on Talking Law videocasts providing legal updates on environmental law and has been published in Legal Week and the Property Law Journal.
