Biography
Glenn Walter’s practice concentrates on corporate restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy issues. He primarily represents financially troubled corporate companies in both out-of-court workouts and Chapter 11 reorganizations. Mr. Walter has also represented major creditors, official committees of unsecured creditors, investors and asset-purchasers in complex Chapter 11 cases.
Mr. Walter has been closely involved in the Chapter 11 representations of such debtors as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc., Refco, Inc., US Airways Group Inc., Fujita USA Corporation, Hollywood Casino Shreveport, Prandium, Inc., Golden Books Family Entertainment, Inc. and Buster Brown Apparel, Inc. He was also closely involved in the representation of the Chapter 11 trustee in Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation.
In 2004, Mr. Walter was certified as a specialist in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification.
