Giles Parsons

Giles is an IP litigator and has worked on a number of cases in the High Court, the Patents Court, IPEC and at the IPO and EPO, including substantial patent disputes (particularly including software patents and standards), and trade mark disputes for some of the world’s leading brands. Reported decisions Giles has been involved in include MHCS v Polistas Ltd [2014] EWHC 4541 (IPEC), Vision Critical Ltd v Future Route Ltd [2012] EWHC 2358 (Pat), Musion Systems Ltd v Activ8-3D Ltd [2011] EWPCC 33 and [2012] EWPCC 5, and Harrison v Harrison [2010] EWPCC 3. Giles also advised Lloyds and TSB on their 2013 rebrands and in 2014 with a dispute with MasterCard.
