Edward is involved in all stages of construction and engineering projects - before, during and after completion. He is involved in all stages of construction and engineering projects - before, during and after completion.
Edward has advised on, drafted and negotiated a large number of construction and engineering contracts and associated documentation in, amongst others, the power, processing and commercial development sectors. This has involved working with the major contract forms including JCT, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC. Edward also has significant experience in negotiating consultant appointments. He has recently advised on a proposed power project in the Middle East, construction issues relating to biomass projects and a series of large retail developments in the north east and south east of England.
Edward has acted for clients in a wide selection of disputes, including involvement in arbitrations (both domestic and international), litigation and adjudication. He has also facilitated favourable settlement of a number of disputes for clients, through the use of both mediation and negotiation.
Edward has an MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration from King's College, London.
