Falk Schöning is a Counsel in Hogan Lovells' Munich office and a member of the Antitrust practice group. His practice focuses on German and EU antitrust matters, including merger control filings and cartel authority investigations in various industries, e.g. media, telecommunications, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals, and transport. Falk advises clients on compliance with the competition rules with respect to a wide range of commercial agreements, including distribution and agency agreements, long-term supply agreements, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He also prepares clients for internal antitrust audits and cartel authority investigations ("dawn raids"). In addition, Falk advises in the fields of state aid law and public procurement law, with a special focus on the defense industry.

Moreover, Falk has ten years of experience as assistant in the EU Parliament and the German Bundestag and regularly counsels clients regarding political processes and legislative procedures on EU and national level.

Falk has published numerous articles and reports involving antitrust, state aid and public procurement law.
