Biography

David McLean is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. He is a member of the litigation department and of the international arbitration, employment law, securities litigation and professional liability, insurance coverage litigation and intellectual property litigation practices. Recognised by Chambers, Euromoney and American Lawyer Media as a leading litigator, David has broad experience in complex commercial litigation, and his substantive expertise includes securities, professional liability, internal investigations and complex business disputes, both domestic and international. He served on the ABA’s standing committee on dispute resolution and as a member of the board of governors of the Federal Bar Association’s alternative dispute resolution section. He is co-chair of the executive committee of the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, and is a member of the advisory board of the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution.
