Dale is the head of Reed Smith’s Investment Funds Group in Europe and the Middle East. He has over 16 years' experience of advising funds, their managers and their investors, both in house with JP Morgan and in private practice in London and New York.

Dale has broad experience of structuring alternative investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and bespoke products. He also advises on joint ventures, investment management and regulatory issues. He is the author of Hedge Funds (LexisNexis Butterworths), the first edition of which was published in November 2008.
