Charlotte Scott

Charlotte has a broad intellectual property law practice, with a growing focus on soft IP and media. She regularly appears in both the IPEC and the High Court. For example, Charlotte has: conducted trials in the IPEC (multi-track and small claims track), both on her own and as junior counsel; appeared in the General Court of the CJEU on an appeal from the EU IPO; regularly conducted hearings in the Trade Marks Registry and appeals before the Appointed Person; and conducted many interim applications in the High Court. Charlotte teaches on the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice course for Trade Mark Attorneys at Nottingham Law School and is a contributor to Copinger & Skone-James on Copyright. She has also had a number of articles published in the European Intellectual Property Law Review.
