Antonia Marsaglia

Antonia Marsaglia has had an Anglo-Italian education, graduated at University College London in 1971 and at the Catholic University of Milan in 1977, qualified with the Milan Bar in 1980 and has had her own firm since 1981. Her languages are Italian, English and French. In 1989 she was one of the founding members of PLG and is now a member of the Council of Administration. Since 1993 she has acted as Honorary Consul General for Ireland. She has been Secretary of the International Commission of the Milan Bar from 1992 to 2001 and since 2001 she is Chairman of the Commission. Since 2002 she is Chairman of the Milan Branch of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Her pricipal area of practice is commercial contracts (agency, distribution, franchising, licensing) corporate cross border operations (incorporation, merger and acquisitions, joint ventures) and assistance to foreign companies in relation to bids for public contracts. She has long term experience in international arbitration and ADR, since 1999 she is one of the registered mediators of the National and International Arbitration Chamber of Milan.
