Anthony is a duty solicitor and a supervisor for very high cost criminal cases. He is a higher courts advocate in the criminal courts. He has substantial experience of acting in protected witness cases, including the largest in recent years. He writes and lectures widely on criminal law. He is a visiting professor at Queen Mary, University of London.

Anthony is also a member of the Council of Justice and of the Editorial Boards of Criminal Law Review. He is also a member of the Law Commission’s Advisory Panel on Criminal Law.
