Biography
Andrew is an insurance specialist with a background in corporate and commercial law, advising insurance and financial institution clients. Andrew regularly advises clients in relation to a wide range of regulatory and corporate insurance matters, including M&A transactions, insurance business transfer schemes, reinsurance transactions, joint ventures; regulatory advisory work; debt capital issues by insurance companies and specific insurance policy matters including in particular D&O and related director liability issues.
Clients include Nomura, UBS , Legal & General, Royal & Sun Alliance, Catalina Re and SNS.
Andrew has for several years been editor of Butterworths Insurance Law Handbook, (LexisNexis) and is a contributor to the ICSA Directors' Handbook (being author of the sections on D&O and director indemnification).
