1 Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

(1)    These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Guernsey) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 6th April 2011.

(2)    In these Regulations “the 2009 Regulations” mean the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Guernsey) Regulations 2009.

(3)    These Regulations extend to Guernsey.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Guernsey) Regulations 2009 by increasing the fee for an application made under section 113B of the Police Act 1997 for an enhanced criminal records certificate from £36 to £44 with effect from 6th April 2011. No fee is payable in relation to an application made by a volunteer under this section.
